I'm not a technical expert,so I don't know if you can add these to your
system.
Well,I'll tell what my most useful upgrades were,so you have an idea:
Gfx card(I have BVision)- the increase in productivity is unbelievable.
Internet use is greatly improved.
Directory Opus Magellan- has almost everything Workbench is missing.
Totally transforms your Amiga use.
PFS3 - turbo charges your drives and stops those invalidation problems.
Blizzard 040/PPC- I ordered the 060 but I only got a 040. PPC's use is
mostly for games and jpeg decoding,so it may not be that useful to
you.
CD writer and MakeCD- essential for my backups and for making audio
CD's. Not a priority,but very useful.
Zip drive- almost became redundant when I acquired the CD writer, but
still useful for temporary backups and other stuff you may not want
to burn permanently to CD.
64 mb RAM- I'm thinking about buying more, but this is more than enough
for most uses.
Viewsonic 19"- I think a monitor must be a priority. No need to plump for
a 19",though. The TV set is not good for Internet and text/graphics
work.
Well, regarding the money issue,I must say I was lucky to receive an
heritage that made it possible to buy all this.Otherwise I would not
have gone for such stuff, especially at the prices I paid...
Now it's a question of what you think is top priority for you.
Hope this helps.
Bye,
Nuno
